Piano Man...

So its been a while since we've updated the blog. I tend to be more short and sweet in these things so don't get to excited. We've been on the apartment hunt lately. no luck yet. I've become a full fledged puck head (hockey fan). I'm pretty sure its the Canadian in me. Soon I'll be rolling cigarettes, and saying "eh" after every sentence. eek. I Can't wait to watch Boston College beat out Harvard in the Bean Pot game this Monday.

Amy and I are doing great with our New Years resolution on Weight Watchers. Amy has reached 50 pounds lost! She looks gorgeous, although shes always been that way. I've lost 27lbs so far and counting. I either need new jeans or I have to start stabbing holes in my belt to keep from having an embarrassing experience. Plaid boxers anyone? We're little nerdy book worms as well, Amy is reading the golden compass series, and to reward myself for the weight loss I picked up the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy collection.

We were also very excited for the Oscars this year. First off, we know an Oscar winner via the 3 degrees of separation. We have friends named Brandon and Prince. Prince's boyfriend is friends with the one and only Diablo Cody. The Winner for best original screenplay for the movie Juno. And from one of my current favorite music documentaries, ONCE, won the award for best music! Their song Falling Slowly got them a golden Oscar, and my youtube video has gained 200 hits! haha A few weeks ago I learned how to play the song on the ivory keys. It's my first attempt at a cover song outside of Twinkle Twinkle. Check it out...
